ABOUT THIS SITE
About Racecalendar.live
Racecalendar.live is an independent calendar for fans who want to know when Formula 1 sessions start where they live.
For practical details on session labels and time-zone conversions, see the schedule guide.
What the calendar does
The calendar brings upcoming race, qualifying, and sprint session times together with the event name, round, and circuit. It converts the published start times into a selected time zone using the time-zone rules supported by your browser. A countdown highlights each listed session, and the time-zone selector lets you check another location.
The calendar is a schedule reference, not a live timing service. It does not provide results, commentary, ticket sales, or notifications. Session details can change after publication, so confirm time-sensitive plans with an official event source.
Where schedule information comes from
When the calendar loads, it requests the current season's race schedule from the Jolpi API, an Ergast-compatible Formula 1 data service. Published dates, start times, circuit names, and locations are used to build the event list. The service does not provide every session in every circumstance; events without a published date and time are not displayed.
Times are formatted by your browser in the selected IANA time zone, including its daylight-saving rules. This is a conversion of the schedule feed, not a guarantee that a session will start at that time. The feed can be updated by its provider or by event organizers.
Editorial and independence
Racecalendar.live is published by Racecalendar.live. We aim to label session types clearly, identify the source of the schedule data, and avoid presenting unpublished start times as confirmed information. When the data service is unavailable, the calendar displays an error instead of substituting an unverified schedule.
